WhiteSource takes over Croatian peer DefenseCode

Israeli software developer WhiteSource said it has acquired Croatian peer DefenseCode, with customers in Europe and North America, for an undisclosed sum.

To accelerate the company’s static application security testing (SAST) solution, WhiteSource completed the acquisition of Croatian-based DefenseCode, which provides next-generation enterprise-grade SAST capabilities including fast scanning and support for multiple languages, WhiteSource said in a statement earlier this week.
