CVE-2026-115560
Published:October 23, 2026
Updated:October 23, 2026
A flaw in PHP's session upload progress handling can lead to remote code execution when an application sets session.serialize_handler to php_binary or php_serialize in its configuration and switches it to php at runtime with ini_set() before calling session_start(), while session.upload_progress.enabled is on. The fix will ship in the next regular PHP release. Setting session.upload_progress.enabled=0 mitigates the issue.
