Mend Leadership Update: Building on Our Momentum for the Next Phase of Growth

Today, we’re sharing an update on Mend.io’s leadership as we enter our next phase of growth.

Over the past several years, Mend.io has strengthened its position as a trusted application security partner for organizations worldwide. We’ve expanded our platform to deliver comprehensive AppSec coverage, reached key milestones in operational maturity, and recently launched Mend AI, bringing security and governance to the rapidly evolving world of AI-powered development.

With this strong foundation in place, we are taking a deliberate step to accelerate execution and scale.

Leadership transition

Effective immediately, Azi Cohen, Mend.io co-founder and president, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.

Azi has played a central role in shaping Mend.io’s strategy, customer relationships, and go-to-market execution from the very beginning. His deep understanding of our customers’ needs, combined with his passion for innovation and scale, positions him exceptionally well to lead Mend.io forward.

Our CEO and co-founder, Rami Sass, will transition to the role of General Manager for Mend AI, focusing on accelerating its growth and execution. He will dedicate his efforts to advancing our category-leading AI security offering. Throughout the transition, Rami and Azi will work closely together to ensure continuity and sustained momentum.
